Laudate FestivalThe Laudate Festival is a project of the Archdiocese that builds a common repertoire of hymns in both school and parish so that children may feel more connected at parish liturgical events and weekly celebrations.The 2019 Laudate Festival celebrations will take place in:
 St. Pius X Church,Templeogue on Monday, 28 January at 7.00pm.
 Our Lady of Victories Church in Ballymun Road on Tuesday, 29 January at 7.00pm.
 St. Therese’s Church, Mount Merrion on Wednesday, 30 January at 7.00pm.

Muckross conventIt was with sadness that we heard that the main convent building will be closed in July and the community moving from the parish to other Dominican Communities.

The Dominican College and the site for additional classrooms for St. Mary’s School are not affected by this development.

Pope Francis on Monday shone the spotlight on the second week of Advent urging believers to ask for the grace to prepare themselves with faith to celebrate Christmas.

The Parish Pastoral Council sincerely thank the 120 people who attended and participated through the process of reflection, discussion and articulation of views.

The Parish Pastoral Council considered the responses and from them we have identified four pastoral priorities.

appeal banner Xmas2017 2The Society Of St Vincent De Paul Annual Christmas collection "Christmas is not the same for everyone" will replace the SHARE collection at all Masses over the weekend of 8th/9th December, is of 'critical importance' as the organisation is experiencing a huge increase in calls for assistance.

Photos of toysThe annual St Vincent de Paul Society Toy Mass will take place at the Family Mass on Sunday 9th December. Toys must be new, no electrical items and brought unwrapped in a gift bag as the toys need to be first checked and then wrapped.
Donation of toys will be accepted at all Masses and these toys will be given to the St Vincent de Paul Society for distribution to children in need.

world family meeting 2018A fifth national Collection to help defray the costs of the recent World Meeting of Families and the visit of Pope Francis will take place in all churches in Ireland this weekend 10 and 11 November. In the Archdiocese of Dublin, this will replace the normal second collection for Share.  Archbishop Martin would be very grateful for your support in promoting this collection.

World Mental Health Day 10th October 201610 October marks World Mental Health Day around the world.  The theme is “Young people and mental health in a changing world.”

World Mental Health Day is a time to raise awareness of mental illness and to encourage us to mind our minds, and to look out for those around us.
